Official Rules for Adelman Broadcasting “Vacation from Your Taxes” giveaway.

1. HOW TO PLAY: No purchase necessary. To win: Listen for: the sound of the "old school adding machine" to play on 100.9 The Heat.. Be the 9th person to call (888) 490-4328 to win your choice from a list of 14 destinations viewable from the The Heat website, www.theheat1009.com. Only one (1) winner per household

Adelman Broadcasting and the sponsors are not responsible for malfunctions or disruptions in local telephone or internet service.

If any portion of the Vacation from Your Taxes giveaway is not capable of running as originally planned due to any reason, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, and/or technical failures which in Adelman Broadcasting’s or the sponsors’ sole discretion corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the online portion of the contest, Adelman Broadcasting reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to void suspect entries and/or modify, suspend or terminate the contest and to award the prizes using all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to any such action taken by Adelman Broadcasting. All entries become the property of Adelman Broadcasting and will not be returned. By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters.

2.ELIGIBILITY: The Vacation from your Taxes contest is open to all legal residents of the United States and its territories, 18 years of age or older with a valid California driver’s license as of the time they enter the contest within the station broadcast areas. Void where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted by law. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of Adelman Broadcasting, employees, spouses, or immediate family of other radio or television stations, any promotional sponsor of the contest, participating retail locations, their respective parents, affiliates, divisions, subsidiary companies and their advertising and promotional agencies and web masters and web suppliers (collectively, the ”Contest Entities”), the immediate family (spouse, parents, children, and siblings, regardless of where they live) or members of the same households of such employees, officers and directors (whether or not related) are not eligible. Eligibility of qualifiers will be at the sole discretion of Adelman Broadcasting. All taxes are the winners’ sole responsibility. By entering this contest, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph, voice recordings and likeness for publicity purposes without compensation or permission. All winners are required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release. Only 1 winner per household, family or address is permitted. Winners may not win again in any other Adelman Broadcasting contest for 90 calendar days after winning in this contest.

3. PRIZE: Hotel accommodations for 2 days and 3 nights at one 14 destinations. All prizes are administered and fulfilled by Nationwide Reservations, P.O. Box 70038, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, 33307. Odds of winning are determined by the number of listeners attempting to call at the time the "old school adding machine" sound is played on-air. Winner may not exchange prize in lieu of a cash prize. There is no cash prize available. Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and licenses.

4. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By entering this Contest, all entrants, any winners, and their family members, guests, invitees, agents, and employees release and hold harmless Adelman Broadcasting and each of the contest entities, as well as the respective officers, directors, agents, employees and shareholders of the foregoing entities and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from and against any and all actions, claims, and/or liability with respect to or in any way arising from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prizes and any related travel and/or activities, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss. Sponsors are not responsible for prize use or utility. Sponsors, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, each of the contest entities, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents of the Contest Entities, and any and all Internet servers and access providers are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participants.
